President & CEO

Biomango Corporation provides cost-effective IT solutions to life science industry.

Propack Data Corporation, Cary, North Carolina

12/99-3/03

President

Propack Data develops management solutions (software and services) for the Pharmaceutical industry in the areas of Enterprise Production and Clinical Supplies Management. Under my leadership, and through my ability to take on many different roles, I grew this start-up organization from one to 44 employees in two and one-half years. I had complete P&L responsibility.

Due to the start up nature of the organization, I assumed many responsibilities:

bullet

As the Chief Sales Officer, I led the team that was responsible for winning the largest order ($5.9M) in the history of the company; I was responsible for closing all orders from the point of view of negotiating business terms and conditions; I supported the sales team with complex Solution Selling process. I also defined our sales process with clear control points and check lists to create a repeatable process and ensure efficient opportunity qualification, quality proposal creation and consistent message delivery.

bullet

As the Chief Strategist, I developed partnerships with implementation organizations, and defined the key messages for the U.S. market (focused on client benefits).

bullet

As the Team Leader, I structured the organization, hired people and fostered team spirit; I established regular communication processes in the form of weekly meeting, quarterly or semi-annual corporate meetings and monthly employee letters. I also initiated an employee performance system based on quarterly performance objectives. I was involved in hiring people across all functional areas (accounting, sales, presales, training, professional services and validation services).

bullet

As the Chief Operating Officer, I delegated many tasks to direct reports, initiated timely performance tracking, created a performance culture, and oversaw operational processes such as hiring, proposal management and delivery of services.
